A LAD who created a computer bug at age 15 and made almost £400,000 by selling it to cyber criminals was motivated for “status”, a court has heard.
Adam Mudd, now 20, faces jail after admitting to hacking and money laundering, with the court hearing his sophisticated hacking software led to more than 1.7million attacks on websites worldwide.
As a teen, the young man designed the system, Titanium Stresser, causing chaos by carrying out almost 600 denial of service himself between December 2015 to March 2015.
