Prosecutor Susan Galloway has called for the time off in order to deal with video footage before calling the next witness.
Testimonies from the first responders to the crime scene and two securities who were on duty on the night were heard in court this week.
Galloway is expected to call the De Zalze estate manager to the stand when court resumes on Monday at 10:00.
Van Breda is accused of murdering both his parents and his brother, as well as the attempted murder of his sister.
