Police say the 91-year-old mother and her 70-year-old daughter were allegedly beaten to death.
The bodies were discovered by one of the 91-year-old's daughters.
It is believed that the two women were followed, as the Webber Road house was ransacked.
Gauteng provincial police commissioner Deliwe de Lange said, "Crimes against children, women and the elderly are a priority and police will make sure that those who are responsible are brought to book."
