Three arrested for possession of cocaine
Three allegedly drug dealers were arrested in Pelican Drive, Bayview in Durban.
Three allegedly drug dealers were arrested in Pelican Drive, Bayview in Durban.
The first suspect was nabbed after he was found in possession of cocaine. The suspect was then taken to his house where more cocaine was found to the street value of R500 000. Two other suspects were then arrested.
One of the suspects tried to bribe police to release the arrested suspects. But members refused and the woman was further charged for bribery.
A joint operation by Provincial Drug Task Team, K9 Unit and Crime Intelligence assisted by Durban Metro police Drug Task Team led to the suspects arrest.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
