The vibrant Idols judge, Somizi Mhlongo expressed his anger during a speech at the prayer service of a Kroonstad woman after she was allegedly murdered in a hate-crime related incident.

According to Times Live, Mhlongo, dressed in a black and white ensemble made his voice heard during his attendance at the prayer service in Kroonstad. He also shared his stirring speech by uploading snippets thereof on Instagram where he mouthed to the congregation that “enough is enough”.

“In her honour, we need to say enough is enough. Action needs to be taken. You need to visit these streets, walk these streets, and say, ‘I am black. I am gay. I am lesbian’. The culprits must know that enough is enough. They must feel your anger,” said Somizi during his speech.

Yesterday at a prayer gathering in support of the family and friends of a woman who was brutally raped and murdered because she’s lesbian. Enough is enough.
