A 37-year-old man has been shot in the head during a robbery in Johannesburg on Friday.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring confirmed that the man was currently in a critical condition following the incident.
Paramedics found the man lying on the floor in a small shop. The man was then placed on advanced life support and taken to a nearby hospital for medical care.
The police's Captain Kay Makhubela said that police have launched a search for four gunmen believed to be involved in the crime.
"They stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in a white Chevrolet."
