Arrests made in connection with Chatsworth couple attack
Four people on Wednesday pretended to be interested in viewing Gona Pillay and her husband’s Silverglen home which was up for sale. The intruders stabbed Gona to death and her husband sustained serious injuries.
Arrests have been made in the murder and stabbing of a couple in Chatsworth.

A 24-year-old suspect was arrested on Thursday on charges of murder, attempted murder, and robbery. he is expected to appear in the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
On Saturday a second suspect was arrested in connection to the crime he is expected to appear in court once he has been charged.
Acting provincial Major General Bheki Langa hopes “that the arrest will bring comfort to the family of the deceased.”
“We will not rest until the outstanding suspects are brought to book. ” he vowed.
