HANOVER TWP. – A report by the Morris County Park Police that several motor vehicle burglaries had occurred in the area led to the arrest of two people on Friday, May connected to a group known as the Felony Lane Gang.
Hanover Township officers conducted intensive patrol of day care centers and fitness facilities where Hanover Township has experienced recent thefts from motor vehicles. Plain clothes officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle leaving the area of a day care facility that was recently targeted by the Felony Lane Gang.
The vehicle was stopped and during a subsequent search of the vehicle, proceeds from a burglary that occurred at Central Park in Parsippany were discovered.
Sgts. Robert Carpenter and John Schauder along with Patrolman Ed Zakrzewski arrested Joseph Worky, 33, of Houston, Texas, and Cornelius Renrick, 25, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., who are alleged members of the Felony Lane Gang.
