A woman has spent hundreds of dollars after stealing “tap and go” bank cards from mailboxes at a Victorian apartment block.
CCTV shows the woman, wearing a hooded jumper, using a screwdriver to pry open the boxes at the Werribee South complex last Saturday.
She sifts through the letters for about 12 minutes, before fleeing the scene with a number of bank cards.
Within hours of the theft, the woman had spent more than $300 at online gambling sites, service stations and stores in Point Cook.
