Laramie man charged with unlawful use of credit card

A Laramie Police Department officer was sent Friday to the 500 block of North Third Street for a report a subject used someone else’s credit card to pay an outstanding bill, according to an LPD news release.

The officer’s investigation resulted in the arrest of Troy T. Christensen, a 26-year-old Laramie resident, for unlawful use of a credit card. Christensen was released on a $10,000 signature bond.

Unlawful use of a credit card is a felony punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years, a fine of up to $10,000 or both, if the value of the property or services purchased or obtained in violation of this section totals $1,000 or more, the release states.

FRIDAY

Adrian Perez-Ascencion, 19, Laramie, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Jorge Barajas, 23, Laramie, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance.

Paul Breyfogle, 18, Laramie, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Daniel Chacon, 20, Laramie, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, speeding and driving under suspension.

Florian Difi, 25, Laramie, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and making an obscene phone call.

Troy Christensen, 26, Laramie, was arrested on suspicion of credit card fraud.

SATURDAY

Trevor Fields, 57, Laramie, was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and disturbing the peace.

Michael Espinoza, 58, Laramie, was arrested on a warrant.
