It is believed that the suspect stabbed the victim to death after robbing two women in a nearby street on Saturday morning.
The victim was assisting two security guards to catch the suspect when he was killed.
The police’s FC van Wyk said, “The victim died due to injuries he sustained at the crime scene, we opened a murder case and we will oppose bail.”
