Woman arrested in Provo after reportedly using forged ID to open loan, new credit cards

A woman was arrested Monday by the Provo Police Department on reports of stealing her friend’s ID to take out a $4,000 loan and open a new credit card for herself.

Police reports state on April 24 Jessica McCamey went to the DMV with the information of a friend. She renewed her friend’s driver’s license, but had her own picture taken and added to the license, reports state.

McCamey, 24, then went to the credit union near the Provo DMV and applied for a $4,000 loan, using her friend’s information. She also provided forged documents, stating she owned a rental property and was renting it…
